so desperately did I want to hear that voice you own.

Regretting every moment I've hung up on you,
"Look, it's twelve, you don't have anything better to do?"
I punch in the numbers, fingers numb.
"You're not at school today, why didn't you come?"
And your soft-spoken voice, whispers an excuse.
The silence that follows tells me that's not the truth.
So I force out a laugh.

The Tardis came crashing
Right into the trees.
It knocked over branches
and scared a hive full of bees.
Through all of time and space,
this blue box could go.
A man could be heard shouting
"GERONIMO!"
